A single donation will help. A regular donation will make a huge difference.

£10 will……support a wheelchair passenger to visit a loved one using our minibus.

£50 will……pay for four volunteer DBS applications.

£100 will….fully train a volunteer to safely drive the minibus.

Friendly Bus provides opportunities for social interaction, friendship, independence and to feel part of their community. A little help makes a big difference to our members’ lives. From giving up a few hours of your time to donating money or items from our Amazon wishlist, there are lots of ways you can help make a difference.

You can help someone feel less lonely today. Feel safe. Be independent.

Memory giving

You can request donations are given to The Friendly Transport Service in your memory when you or a loved one pass away. We’re registered with Memory Giving who are used by many leading funeral companies in the UK.

Donations can be made online and Gift Aid is automatically collected where applicable. This means we’ll receive an extra £0.25 from the government per £1 donated from a tax-payer.

Leave a legacy in your Will

Leaving a legacy means any funds you donate in your Will, will continue to support the great work we do for years to come. You’ll be helping more people to use our services for many years.

You’ll need to speak to your solicitor and we recommend you speak to a Tax Consultant/Financial Adviser to understand any tax implications. You or your solicitor can contact us on 01952 881145 between 9am and 1pm, Monday to Friday to obtain our details.

Do you have a few hours each week or every other week you could spare? Have you thought about volunteering? There are so many benefits from keeping you active, meeting new people and giving back to your local community.

We have various roles available ranging from gardening, driving the minibus, support passengers on trips to changing light bulbs and collecting shopping/prescriptions/library books! More information is available here.
